I
did not get to see Jo Ann Castle last night, but boy can Gail ever fire
up that piano just as good as Jo Ann. She cranked out the Piano
Picker and a super song, Root Beer Rag. Gail joked that
Lawrence Welk has his Champagne music, well she prefers Root Beer! Gail
also gave us a sample of Moonglow and the Theme from Picnic
in the oooooh oooohhh style of singing that she did many times of the LW
show. Then, a treat Michael Redman joined Gail to do Sunny Side of the
Street.
