Unfortunately, no photos could be taken during the
performance.  Too bad, because Mother and I were
in the handicap area, in front of the front row.  Mainly the
pictures I have are related to Mother's birthday and
Guy and Ralna singing to her.....but there
are several other good shots taken after the show.

SHERYL'S WORDS DESCRIBE THE TWO PICTURES ABOVE

Ralna was so sweet.  When we went up by the table, Ralna said outloud -- 
"Well, here is Edith Buss who came all the way from Minnesota to attend
this performance on her 91st birthday.  I just love you.
Guy, we have to sing to Edith."

Then Ralna leaned over and starting singing "Oh, how we danced on
the night we were wed..... " then she said, "Oh, that's the wrong song".
She and Guy then sang "Always" to Mother.  You may recall, Ralna sang
"Always" to Mother a few years ago at a performance in St. Paul.
That song holds a special meaning for us as it is the song I had a soloist
sing to my parents back in 1962 when I was installed as Honored Queen
in Job's Daughters.  I was so thrilled that Guy and Ralna sang
to Mother and Mother was very happy too.

Mother DID tell Ralna and Guy that she came just for this performance.
And, that's the truth too!   We have been so blessed by the Welk
performers and the WelkNoters we have met in our journey --
-- they have made our lives much richer.
