GUY PERFORMS AT THE MISSISSIPPI RISING CONCERT
 Guy performed a heartfelt rendition of a song that he
has done many times
in the state of Mississippi
in concerts through
the years.  The name is "Mississippi This is Your Song" 

It was written by another Mississippian named
Jim Weatherly.  He was a quarterback from Ole Miss
in the early 60's.

Guy has recorded this on an album by the same name
that was put out by the
University of Mississippi Foundation in 1988.

On the same album he also
sings "Mighty Mississippi"
(with Jeanine Walker),
"River in the Rain" and
"Muddy Water".  Mary Ann Mobley and others are
also featured on the album.
