"Themes From the Classics"
Host: Charlotte Harris Deveny
Charlotte Deveny, the longtime cellist of the Lawrence Welk Band, hosts "Themes from the Classics," a salute to classical compositions that have been adapted into hit songs. The show opens with "Tonight We Love," Bobby Burgess and Cissy King dance to the "Warsaw Concerto," and Sandy Griffiths, Gail Farrell and Mary Lou Metzger sing "Glow Worm." Ralna and Guy sing "Anniversary Song."
